Pay Rate:
$18.50-19/hr
Position Summary:
The Production Operator is a member of the bottling department. The position may work one of the following positions: Filler, Case Packer, Palletizer, Case Former, Labeler, and Depalletizer.
Responsibilities:
Manual operation of equipment assigned. Clean and sanitize equipment assigned. Various mechanical duties as necessary. Perform changeovers as required. Role in
Food Safety:
Follow plant GMPs at all times and ensure work area is secure.
Job Requirements:
Accurately maintain required records to ensure compliance with Company and/or government standards. Work safely. Any other tasks required by the supervisor. Position that backs up this role during absence: This position will be filled with any other operator trained in the use of equipment or the relief operator during an absence . A.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the following physical demands up to 90% of the time. Ability to turn head to look right/left as well as up and down. Ability to twist body at waist. Ability to bend/squat/kneel. Ability to grasp bottles. Ability to reach with both arms. Ability to stand for 8 hours during a shift minus breaks and lunch. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. B.
Non-Physical Requirements:
Education:
A high school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Minimum one year experience in a juice processing facility preferred.
Special Skills :
Ability to read/write in English. Good communication skills. A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement. Personally invested in the success of the business. Motivated, focused, and accountable for results.
