Job Description
Kennedy Lewis Housing Solutions (KLHS) leverages Kennedy Lewis Investment Management's established franchise providing capital solutions to homebuilders and land developers nationwide. KLHS seeks to deepen these industry partnerships by delivering innovative products and services that address key operational challenges facing the homebuilding industry today. Position Overview KLHS is seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic Senior Purchasing Director to build and lead a best-in-class national purchasing and GPO platform. This individual will be responsible for developing purchasing strategies, establishing supplier partnerships, negotiating national contracts and rebate programs, and creating a scalable procurement organization that delivers meaningful value to homebuilder partners across the country. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of KLHS's national purchasing and GPO strategy. Negotiate and manage national and regional supplier agreements, rebate programs, and preferred vendor relationships. Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and trade partners. Establish purchasing processes, metrics, and reporting to support growth and performance management. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing purchasing team. Partner with executive leadership and builder clients to identify and deliver strategic value. Qualifications 7-10+ years of purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing experience with a high-volume production homebuilder ( 4,000+ annual closings ). Proven experience managing purchasing teams across multiple regions or divisions. Extensive experience negotiating and managing national and regional contracts, rebate programs, and strategic supplier partnerships. Strong existing relationships with national suppliers, manufacturers, and trade partners serving the residential construction industry. Demonstrated ability to build programs, processes, and teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Bachelor's degree required. Location Hybrid office locations are preferred in: Scottsdale, AZ Philadelphia, PA Miami, FL Remote candidates may be considered for exceptional individuals with significant national homebuilding purchasing experience.
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per yearBenefits:
