Job Description

Summary:
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing day-to-day aspects of purchasing for the Food and Beverage and venue operations within a Category-Defining, Shared Reality Venue.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and maintaining inventory/order spread sheets that understand usage and purchasing trends. Is Engaged with Food and Beverage departments to assist with daily orders including the coordination of deliveries and product to be utilized in Cosm across two kitchens and throughout the venue. Work closely with Heart of House (Kitchen) and Bar team to maximize ordering efficiency, product deliveries, and inventory allocation. Review vendor invoices and pricing. Monitor inventory ensuring products are rated and control spoilage. Assist with performing weekly inventory. Code all invoices to proper outlet for immediate payment processing. Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time. Fan oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management in a CosmWorthy way. Experience:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment. Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly. Familiarity with Micros, Shift4, and Yellow Dog a plus. Must be proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work in a team environment. Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training. Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you. Must have previous purchasing experience and 5+ years in restaurant and/or hotel, with a strong understanding of day to day impacts on a P&L.

Pay:
$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
