Role Overview:
Lead the implementation of client's strategic sourcing tool (SAP Ariba Sourcing or equivalent), partnering with Procurement, Finance, IT, Legal, and business unit stakeholders to deliver a configured, adopted, and operational tool. This is a hands-on PM role responsible for everything from requirements gathering to go-live readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Define, document, and validate business process requirements for the sourcing tool in collaboration with the Procurement team and key stakeholders. Gather and consolidate requirements across all user groups: Procurement, Finance, Legal, IT, and Business Units. Develop and maintain the project plan, milestone tracker, RAID log, and status reporting cadence. Serve as the primary liaison between client and the SAP Ariba implementation partner. Coordinate system configuration, integration with
SAP S/4HANA
(master data, supplier sync, PO flow), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate blockers as needed. Support change management activities including stakeholder communications and training coordination. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user guides for the new sourcing tool. Ensure the tool is ready for go-live and that post-implementation support plans are in place before engagement concludes.
Required Skills:
5+ years of project management experience, including at least 2 full-cycle procurement or sourcing tool implementations. Hands-on experience implementing SAP Ariba Sourcing and/or SAP Ariba Contracts (Coupa Sourcing, Ivalua, or Zip considered as comparable). Strong understanding of strategic sourcing processes: RFx events, supplier evaluation, scoring, and award workflows. Familiarity with
SAP S/4HANA
integration points with
Ariba:
vendor master, material/service master, PO flow, and supplier sync. Proven stakeholder management across Procurement, IT, Finance, and Legal in a global environment. Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Asana). Strong written and verbal English communication; able to operate independently during PST business hours. Nice to

PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification. Experience with formal change management frameworks (Prosci ADKAR). Background working with global, multi-region procurement teams (US + EMEA). Prior experience with automotive, EV, or technology joint-venture environments. Familiarity with SAP Ariba Network supplier onboarding at scale.
