$140,000•$150,000 DOE About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end procurement operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost savings initiatives, and ensuring a reliable, cost-effective supply chain that supports business growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic procurement leader with strong negotiation skills, supplier management expertise, and a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams while delivering measurable results. Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives. Lead, mentor, and develop procurement team members while fostering a high-performance culture. Provide expertise in global sourcing strategies and supply chain risk mitigation. Sourcing & Supplier Management Oversee all direct and indirect procurement activities, including materials, services, and capital equipment. Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships through effective contract negotiation and performance management. Drive supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, service, and innovation metrics. Implement proactive sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize risk. Cost Optimization & Performance Analyze spending trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation. Establish, track, and report on procurement KPIs to support business decision-making. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, systems, and best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Planning teams to support integrated business planning. Work collaboratively to optimize inventory levels and minimize operational disruptions. Serve as the primary liaison between procurement and internal stakeholders. Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical procurement standards. Oversee adherence to
FAR/DFAR
regulations and required reporting, including ISR submissions. Support supply chain and infrastructure improvement initiatives across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Significant procurement leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, technology, or related environments. Strong contract negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing experience. Proven success developing and implementing procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and operational improvements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience with ERP systems;
SAP S/4HANA
experience preferred. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning processes is a plus. Ability to travel up to 20%.
