Job Summary:
The Indirect Strategic Sourcing Category Manager plays a critical role in driving enterprise value, supplier innovation, and strategic sourcing excellence across a diverse portfolio of indirect spend categories. This role supports both Corporate Services (IT, Marketing, HR, Professional Services) and Operational Services (Maintenance, Construction, Fuel, and related categories), delivering value across corporate, resort, and ancillary business lines globally. Based in our Broomfield, Colorado headquarters, this position reports to the Director, Strategic Sourcing and partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies that align with business objectives. The role leads end-to-end sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, contract management, and ongoing supplier performance efforts while influencing key stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of delivering measurable business results through sourcing and supplier management.

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across indirect spend categories, including Technology, Marketing, Human Resources, Professional Services, Operational Services, Maintenance, Construction, and Fuel. Develop and execute category strategies that drive cost savings, value creation, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation. Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including spend analysis, market assessments, sourcing strategy development, RFx execution, supplier negotiations, contracting, implementation, and ongoing supplier management. Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand operational and strategic objectives and translate them into sourcing solutions. Conduct supplier evaluations, benchmark market trends, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased value. Develop and maintain financial models, pricing analyses, and business cases to support sourcing decisions. Negotiate commercial agreements and contractual terms to optimize business outcomes while minimizing risk. Monitor supplier performance and lead governance activities to ensure service, quality, and financial objectives are achieved. Influence stakeholders and drive alignment with cross-functional teams to achieve sourcing and enterprise objectives. Mentor and support team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply management with responsibility for indirect spend categories. Strong sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and contract management experience. Proven analytical and financial modeling capabilities, including pricing analysis and business case development. Demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility with senior business leaders and suppliers. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience within the Retail, Hospitality, Travel, or Leisure industries preferred. Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or equivalent are a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and sourcing/procurement technologies.
