Job Description

Odd Sox is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining purchase orders for finished goods purchased from our overseas manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in an ERP system, and able to manage changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Enter purchase orders into the ERP system for finished goods ordered from overseas factories. Review and verify purchase orders for accuracy, including item numbers, quantities, costs, vendors, and delivery dates. Update purchase orders promptly when pricing, quantities, delivery dates, or other order details change. Work closely with the Item Master Data Specialist to ensure purchase order information aligns with established item records. Coordinate with the Production Specialist regarding order timelines, production schedules, and factory confirmations. Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready purchase order documentation. Monitor purchase order details and communicate discrepancies or potential issues in a timely manner. Escalate order-entry issues, vendor discrepancies, or other purchasing concerns to the Supervisor. Support the purchasing and production teams with administrative tasks and accurate recordkeeping as needed. Other duties assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Previous experience in purchasing, order entry, supply chain, inventory, or a related administrative role preferred. Experience working with an ERP or purchasing system. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple purchase orders and changing deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and overseas vendors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to identify discrepancies, follow established processes, and escalate issues appropriately.
