Purchasing Manager - Bilingual Spanish

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations and optimize supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, including sourcing, category management, and supply chain optimization. Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards. Manage supplier relationships through effective supplier management practices, including performance evaluations and root cause analysis to address issues proactively. Oversee procurement management systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and ERP platforms to streamline purchasing workflows and ensure data accuracy. Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to align procurement activities with production planning, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and supply chain schedules. Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and internal policies governing contracts and procurement processes. Conduct market research and sourcing initiatives to identify new suppliers, evaluate supply options, and optimize costs across categories. Monitor key performance indicators related to quality management, materials management, pricing strategies, and supply chain efficiency to continuously improve procurement operations. Monthly Inventory Reports. Must have basic knowledge of diesel truck parts. Must have experience with expense reports. Qualifications Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms; proficiency in procurement modules is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management. Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and logistics principles related to supply chain management. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements. Experience in category management, sourcing strategies, production planning, and materials management is preferred.
