Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop and implement revenue management and pricing strategies to optimize room revenue and overall profitability. Analyze booking patterns, market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to adjust rates and inventory accordingly. Maintain and update pricing and availability across all distribution channels. Maintain records and track key performance indicators for profitability Analyze competitors' market positioning, brand reputation, and unique selling propositions to understand strengths and weaknesses. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align strategies and maximize revenue opportunities. Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and budget analyses to senior management. Monitor and manage the hotel's pricing integrity and rate parity across all platforms. Utilize revenue management systems, property management systems, and channel managers to inform strategic decisions. Evaluate group and transient business to ensure optimal mix and pricing strategies. Identify and pursue opportunities for ancillary revenue (ie packages, upgrades, upsells).
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience as a Revenue Manager in a HOTEL setting Luxury 4-5 star hotel/resort experience a plus Familiarity with yield management and forecasting.
