Oversee supplier management activities, including evaluating supplier performance, conducting root cause analysis for supply issues, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Manage procurement categories through strategic sourcing initiatives, ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery across the supply chain. Collaborate across departments such as logistics, materials management, quality assurance, and project management to streamline procurement workflows and enhance supply chain resilience. Ensure compliance with procurement regulatory requirements and internal policies while managing procurement contracts from initiation to renewal or termination. Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast needs accurately and optimize inventory levels for continuous production flow. Requirements Proven experience in procurement management within a complex supply chain environment; public sector purchasing experience is a plus. Strong expertise in contract negotiation, vendor contract management, and supplier relationship development. Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other e-procurement tools; familiarity with procurement modules like category management and strategic sourcing. Knowledge of procurement regulatory frameworks and best practices in procurement contract negotiation. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively through project management skills and collaborative communication. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements.
