Commodity Buyer

Purem Novi, Inc. seeks Commodity Buyer in Brighton, MI to support operational, tactical and strategic procurement initiatives, and supplier performance management, with resolution of events for given sub-commodities within the procurement team, while supporting the NA BU team. Support regional strategy in concurrence with global strategy for the BU region. Assist in execution of the global and regional strategies. Negotiate prices for assigned commodities and programs. Assist in RFQs, sourcing analysis, PO issuance, and sourcing board recommendations. Monitor and process CN's. Support Commodity Managers and Senior Manager with maintaining MaCo initiatives, reports for relevant commodities. Support shared services team with invoice resolution, payment amounts, tooling payments, and other accounting topics as needed. Actively use SAP. Lead resourcing activities, alternative technology and supplier identification. Actively support VA/VE initiatives. Provide monthly reports as directed. Coordinate contract details, support budgeting process, and maintain vendor records. Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of the Company within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements. Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and follows all BUAM polices related to TS16949 and

ISO 14001.
