Window Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications. Responsibilities Measure window openings accurately using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure proper fitment. Prepare window frames and surrounding structures through carpentry,framing, or remodeling techniques. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to install windows securely in various building types. Handle glass installation with precision, including cutting, fitting, and sealing windows to prevent leaks and drafts. Perform caulking, trimming, fixture installation, , door hanging, and other finishing tasks to enhance aesthetics and functionality. Conduct heavy lifting safely when moving large window units or materials on-site. Follow construction estimating procedures for material needs and project timelines while adhering to safety protocols throughout the process. Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in window installation. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and metal stud framing. Experience with glass installation techniques as well as fixture and cabinet installation. Ability to perform remodeling work including drywall finishing and painting as needed. Skilled in carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, and heavy lifting. Familiarity with handyman tasks like caulking, construction painting, assembly, and remodeling projects. Prior construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and protocols.
