Seeking a highly motivated Hub Buyer to join our Purchasing team and play a key role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives across a multi-site environment. This position is responsible for managing supplier performance, delivering cost savings, and implementing regional and global purchasing strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Indirect Category Strategy implementation and ownership, driving value beyond transactional purchasingAnalyze and manage spend, savings, and performance metrics, leveraging data to inform decisionsNegotiate with suppliers to achieve cost optimization and meet annual savings targetsCollaborate across multiple sites to standardize processes and enhance purchasing efficiencyDrive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders, influencing decisions and ensuring business objectives are metSupport supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiativesBenchmark and analyze the market and specifications for cost optimization.

Participate in cost reduction workshops/ VA/VE (Value Added/ Value Engineering) to identify alternative service/suppliers/product, manufacturing processes, etc.

Ensure Annual Productivities.

Analyze globalization rate of assigned scope. Develop and implement strategies to increase globalization rate.

Active participation of common reporting & cost saving follow up.

Define, measure, follow QCDIS ratings (Quality, Costs, Deliveries, Innovation & Sustainability) and update supplier strategy which support regional and global group strategies.
Validate Sourcing Committee:
ensure the general conditions and other agreements, application, supplier capacity and capability commitment are signed.

Follow supplier's performance deviation. Pilot for crisis management/ escalation procedure of unforeseen supply chain / quality disruptions.

Proactively evaluate suppliers to identify potential risk (Risk analysis to be managed with action plan).Introduce new alternatives to secure service and provide cost reductions.

Support and attend audits/ pre audits/ suppliers' meetings.

Reports anomalies and suggestions regarding the energy outcome and functioning of the energy management system.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and direct experience in purchasingProven experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcingStrong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into tangible action plans and fast execution.

Experience working in a multi-site or global environmentAbility to influence and align stakeholders across functions and levelsA strategic thinker who can move beyond transactional buying to deliver long-term valueFamiliarity with calculations and processes that are purchasing specificDisplays professional integrity & demonstrates commitment to self-improvementAbility to communicate and interact effectively at all levels within the organization and with outside vendors / suppliersAbility to work effectively as a member of a teamFlexibility and professionalism in dealing with suppliers and internal customersStrong Proficiency in MS Office programs (especially Excel).
