$1B Foodservice Distribution Operation We?re searching for a proven procurement leader from the wholesale foodservice distribution industry to take ownership of purchasing, supplier performance, and inventory health for a high?volume, fast?moving DC. If you know how to drive Service , Fill Rate , Shrink , and Obsolete Inventory in a billion?dollar environment ? this role puts you at the center of the operation. What You?ll Lead Oversee all buying , supplier service , shrink , and obsolete inventory Lead and develop a team of 8?10 Buyers Own the KPIs that define customer experience: Service + Fill Rate Build a standardized category management platform Strengthen supplier partnerships and drive accountability Improve forecasting, purchasing discipline, and inbound reliability Integrate procurement strategy with operations, finance, and sales Implement policies, processes, and systems that elevate performance Reduce waste, improve turns, and protect margin This is a high?visibility, high?impact leadership role in a major distribution center.
