Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Oversee procurement operations: Manage purchasing and inventory of general merchandise to ensure adequate stock levels Align with internal stakeholders: Collaborate with the Chef and hotel management to align purchases with hotel needs and specifications Manage supplier relationships: Secure competitive pricing, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods Ensure quality control: Review shipments to confirm products meet order specifications, grade, and quality standards Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
