Job Description
About the RoleWe're looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Sourcing Manager to lead product sourcing on behalf of Dealer Merchandising's broader dealer network. This is a remote, senior individual contributor role with the potential to grow into a management position as the business expands. You'll build and negotiate vendor relationships, use sales data to identify winning products and emerging trends, and ensure everything we source is profitable, well-fitted to available space, and ready for both everyday and seasonal dealer needs.

What You'll DoDevelop a diverse assortment of products across OEM merchandise, automotive accessories, lifestyle goods, gifts, collectibles, apparel, and seasonal products that appeal to a broad range of dealership customersBuild and manage vendor relationships, negotiating deals and terms on behalf of the broader Dealer Merchandising dealer body to improve pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and launch exclusive productsIdentify and cultivate relationships with new brands, manufacturers, and suppliers that align with our dealership retail strategyAnalyze existing product performance to identify top-performing and underperforming SKUs, and create launch and exit strategies to support the larger businessContinuously research emerging retail trends, automotive lifestyle products, and consumer buying behaviors to keep Dealer Merchandising's assortments fresh and relevantOptimize sourcing decisions for profitability across the dealer networkManage select white-label product initiatives where appropriateEvaluate space planning considerations, ensuring sourced products fit available display and store spaceManage product sourcing for seasonal displays and promotionsCollaborate with Marketing and eCommerce teams to identify products that are well-positioned for campaigns and promotionsAttend trade shows, monitor industry publications, social media, and competitor retailers to identify new merchandising opportunities and brandsWhat You Bring5+ years of experience in sourcing, buying, procurement, or a related product/merchandising roleProven track record of building and negotiating vendor relationships and contractsStrong analytical skills, with experience using sales data to evaluate product performance and identify trendsUnderstanding of profitability drivers in sourcing decisions, including cost, margin, and terms negotiationFamiliarity with space planning or planogram considerations as they relate to product selectionComfort managing multiple vendor and product initiatives simultaneously, including seasonal sourcing cyclesClear written and verbal communication, with comfort representing the company in external vendor negotiationsExperience sourcing or developing white-label product linesFamiliarity with the automotive space is a bonus
