full-time A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory optimization, and procurement operations. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day purchasing responsibilities. Responsibilities Develop and execute sourcing strategies that improve cost, quality, and supplier performance. Lead supplier negotiations, competitive bidding activities, and contract management. Analyze spend data and identify cost reduction opportunities across direct and indirect materials. Manage supplier relationships while reducing risk and improving service levels. Drive inventory optimization initiatives and address excess and obsolete inventory. Enhance reporting, purchasing controls, and procurement processes to support company growth. Manage approximately $50M in annual spend across a diverse supplier base. Opportunity to influence sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and operational improvements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, preferred 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience Strong supplier negotiation and vendor management skills Experience with ERP systems and purchasing analytics
