Job Description:
A rapidly scaling energy?technology company is seeking a Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to build and lead the sourcing, materials, and logistics capability behind commercial deployment of a complex industrial product platform. This is a hands?on leadership role spanning strategic sourcing, supplier development, inventory, logistics, compliance, ERP/MRP implementation, and cost management. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial builder who can create scalable processes while personally resolving immediate sourcing, cost, and delivery challenges. What You'll Own Sourcing strategy across a multi?disciplinary, engineering?driven BOM Supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, and performance management Procurement plans tied to engineering releases and project schedules Long?lead and critical?path component management Inventory strategy, working?capital discipline, and materials availability Logistics planning, freight, warehousing, and project?site delivery Domestic?content and
FEOC/PFE
compliance ERP/MRP and inventory?system implementation Supply?chain risk identification, mitigation, and recovery planning What You'll Build A resilient, scalable supply base capable of supporting commercial volumes Approved primary and alternate suppliers for critical components Time?phased procurement plans aligned with customer delivery commitments Supplier scorecards, qualification processes, and performance reviews Inventory policies, controls, and visibility across partners and sites Practical procurement and expediting processes that support scale without bureaucracy What Success Looks Like On?time material availability for customer projects Long?lead coverage and alternate?source readiness Accurate cost bases and negotiated pricing Reduced supply?chain risk and improved delivery certainty Strong supplier performance and commercial discipline Effective ERP/MRP adoption and high?quality data Who You Are 8+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, or project delivery Experience building supply?chain capability in a scaling environment Skilled in sourcing technically complex components from BOMs and engineering specs Strong cross?functional collaborator with engineering, operations, finance, and project teams Comfortable with both strategic leadership and hands?on tactical execution Experienced with long?lead equipment, inventory planning, and ERP/MRP systems Background in energy storage, power generation, electrical equipment, industrial automation, process equipment, EPC, or similar capital?equipment sectors is a plus
