Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the timely acquisition of quality materials and services. Your expertise in procurement management, contract negotiation, and supply chain optimization will be instrumental in supporting our organizational goals. Responsibilities Manage purchasing of raw materials, packaging, labels, and production supplies Source and evaluate vendors; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules Maintain accurate purchase orders, lead times, and inventory levels Track material usage and forecast needs based on production schedules Work closely with Production, QA, and Accounting to ensure compliance and accuracy Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues Maintain organized records for audits, certifications, and regulatory requirements Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality Ensure materials arrive on time to prevent production delays Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and inventory control Qualifications 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience (manufacturing preferred) Strong negotiation and vendor‑management skills Ability to read and understand COAs, spec sheets, and material requirements Experience with inventory systems, ERP, or purchasing software Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of supplements, nutraceuticals, or food manufacturing is a plus Knowledge of QuickBooks online, and Fishbowl software Bilingual is helpful, but not necessary What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health Insurance PTO and paid holidays Stable, long‑term employment with a growing company Positive, team‑focused work environment Join our dynamic team where your strategic sourcing expertise will directly impact our operational success!
