Job Summary Landscape Purchasing Manager What you'll do: You'll help keep our projects moving by making sure the right materials, plants, and equipment are sourced, organized, and ready when needed. You'll work closely with our team and vendors to keep everything running smoothly across multiple projects. A day in the role might include: Keeping our purchasing organized so projects stay on track and within budget Connecting with vendors to check pricing, availability, and timelines Reviewing options and helping choose the best materials for each project Coordinating orders and making sure deliveries arrive on time Preparing landscape submittals for review so everything is approved and ready to move forward Keeping a clear, up-to-date submittal log—tracking what's been submitted, where it's at in the review process, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks Tracking long-lead items and helping solve any delivery challenges Working alongside project managers to support their needs Finding ways to save time and money through smart purchasing decisions Reviewing invoices and making sure everything lines up correctly What makes someone great in this role: Organized and detail-oriented—you like keeping things in order A good communicator with both vendors and teammates A problem-solver who can adapt when things change Able to juggle multiple projects at once Always looking for efficient, cost-effective solutions Why this role matters: This role helps keep everything flowing behind the scenes.
