JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:

Program Manager 35-40 hours a week,

Full-Time SALARY:

$42,000. ( •There are currently no health benefits offered with this role ) The Program Manager oversees the Second Shift programs. They work with clients, direct care staff, mentors, volunteers, community partners and stakeholders in developing and maintaining high quality services for clients. They are responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of programs.

Executive Director

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises and performs client intake and assessments. Oversees staff and case management services related to client care. Recruits, trains, connects, and supports mentors to help ensure success with young adult clients. Works with all staff to conduct outreach for programs. Ensures that Client Care Advocates are providing services within the best practices outlined by the agency. Contributes to fundraising to support and grow the programs. Monitors program outputs and outcomes to ensure success. Coordinates and facilitates regularly scheduled meetings and training. Provides case management for clients in the absence of supporting staff. Attends agency and other program meetings as appropriate. Attends community meetings as appropriate. Meets with supervisor weekly for a program update. Facilitates program development and performance. Communicates effectively with team members and. Monitors housing conditions of all Transitional Housing locations. To ensure safety and/or cleanliness issues are addressed in a timely manner. And the properties are maintained at agency standards. Report maintenance issues to Executive Director immediately. Works with outside and partnering agencies to ensure quality of care for clients. Leads program staff and delegates tasks among them. Monitors program budgets and determining how to prioritize funds Other duties as needed and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Social Work degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of similar education and experience. Experience working with Child Welfare, Foster Care, Youth Development, Residential Care, or transitional housing programs highly desired. Must be dependable, committed, punctual, efficient, organized, and professional under pressure. Ability to balance excellent client care with meeting deadlines and ensuring positive program goals and outcomes. Experience providing services to clients of various racial, ethnic, socioeconomic backgrounds or sexual identity who are overrepresented in homeless populations as well as working in different cultural environments. An understanding of humility and respect for working with homeless youth and families. Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills, both internally and externally. Ability to keep accurate documentation and record program related data. Must be personable and informative when presenting Second Shift programs and services. Computer knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office Suite Valid Alabama driver's license with access to a personal vehicle. Ability to travel up to 200 miles (no overnight travel)
