Job Description
- Purpose of Position
- This position provides Senior Program Management leadership and is responsible for end-to-end on-time delivery of one or more Invenco by GVR Programs, Solutions or Portfolio programs for a product line, spanning requirements identification, design, engineering development, verification, integration, and release to production deployment for customers.
- Key Responsibilities
- Support and drive Programs, Solutions or Portfolio Programs post initiation and scoping from design / requirement identification and analysis through delivery.
- Support Engineering Teams and/or a Release Train working with cross-functional teams to ensure clear solutions are defined, developed, and integrated with business operating processes as required, working across product groups and geographies.
- Act as a resource, coach or mentor for colleagues with less experience.
- Provide hands on Agile Program management for Programs, Solutions or Portfolio Programs, with high complexity and budget responsibilities.
- Prepare communication plans and related Program status reports and presentations, including customer communications as needed.
- Effectively apply internal development processes based upon Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and VBS standards.
- Lead or support PI Planning to ensure teams understand the Product Management ASKs, dependencies are identified, dependencies are agreed to by cross-functional teams for timely delivery, and Commits are adequately planned.
- Ability to identify risks or technical pitfalls across Programs, Solutions, or Portfolio Programs and addressed in a timely manner.
- Day to day management of program team(s) personnel, and communication with key Stakeholders.
- Primary point of contact for Program, Solution, or Portfolio Program related issues
- Oversee the entire Program life cycle and manage across multiple program releases in various stages (development, field trials, production).
- Interact with internal customers including but not limited to Product Management, Product Owners, key Stakeholders, Executive Leadership, and external Customers.
- Manage program delivery timeline ensuring on time delivery of agreed to Commits, deliverables, and milestones.
- Background and Skill
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent experience managing technical Programs.
- Experience in product development or business analysis with extensive cross functional exposure preferred.
- Fluent in English
- Distributed & multi-cultural team management experience.
- Ability to lead a portfolio of related programs or projects, or large programs with high levels of resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
