Job Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Outdoor Educator (Stewardship Teacher) to join our team and teach up to five days per week as part of our Academy for Environmental Stewardship and Discovery Summer Camp . These unique programs take place entirely outdoors on the beautiful grounds of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation's Discovery Campus. Stewardship Teachers are responsible for delivering designated educational programs using our established curriculum. They play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for all students. This is a part-time, flexible position. Availability and hours are determined based on program bookings.
Programs offered:
Field trips: Based on booking (Typically Monday•Friday, September•June)
Discovery Summer Camp:
June 8th•August 14th Scout Programs Paddle and Learn Tours Prior experience working with or educating children required.
