Job Description

This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment is dependent on the successful award and execution of the contract to our organization. About the
Role:
The Senior Acquisition Advisor helps the FORGE Systems Program Manager with all matters related to acquisition, to include: Acquisition strategy, acquisition reporting, senior level acquisition briefings/papers/correspondence, Congressional reporting, budget/finance, contracting, and other actions as requested by the customer. General Physical Demands Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day) Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents Occasional standing, walking, and reaching within office environment Ability to lift and carry up to 10lbs Visual acuity for: Reading screens and printed materials Working with detailed technical diagrams Hearing and Speech Ability to communicate clearly in person and via phone/video Participate in classified discussions in secure areas Mobility Ability to move within a secure facility including badge controlled areas Occasional travel between buildings or to secure labs
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineer or a closely related field At least 15+ years of DoD/IC or relevant industry experience in program management supporting complex technical programs, with direct work in cybersecurity and systems engineering Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, cross-functional programs from initiation to completion. Experience with SOWs, PWSs, and contract/agile delivery frameworks Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred 10+ years of relevant experience 20+ years of DoD/IC or relevant industry experience in program management supporting complex technical programs, with direct work in cybersecurity and systems engineering Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineer or a closely related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience PMP or equivalent program management certification. Experience in SETA roles supporting a government program office Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change in a matrixed organizational structure. DAU certification
Responsibilities:
Responsible for All matters related to acquisition for the FORGE Program Office Monitors and evaluates Contracts, budgets, Congressional actions, program office taskers related to acquisition. Supports and manages GAO reporting, SAE reporting, PEO reporting Applies, maintains, and improves FORGE Acquisition Strategy, FORGE Guardrails, FORGE reporting at various levels Applies the Development Plan in recruiting/on-boarding Assists with the budget estimates, contract proposals, RFIs Participates in semi-monthly numerous meetings, numerous required reporting, program management reviews, etc. Produces reports, papers, briefings Works with other program offices who fall under the Next Generation OPIR umbrella Exigo Benefits 401k 10% Employer contribution (No match required) Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Employer‑paid medical premiums (0% employee cost) UnitedHealthcare PPO (Choice Plus) base plan Dental & Vision (Principal) Fully covered—100% of premiums paid—includes preventive, basic, and major dental services (plus orthodontia for children) and vision exams, lenses, frames, and contacts.
