The Program Director is responsible for ensuring quality treatment is being provided. Maintains compliance with policies and procedures as well as all governing agencies (DHCS, JCAHO). Promotes the coordination and continuity of care through integrated case management, interdisciplinary treatment planning, and discharge planning in collaboration with the Clinical Director. Supervise, train, and counsel all operations and case management, staff. The Program Director must be flexible and able to come in, on-call, for an emergency and be open to schedule changes when required (for example: working on weekends).
Job Duties:
1. Conduct weekly operational staff meetings and maintain tracking attendance and meeting minutes of all meetings 2. Maintain cleanliness of homes, houses should always be tour-ready, therefore, supervise and train staff to meet this daily and weekly standard. 3. Assist the marketing team with on-site tours 4. Conduct monthly staff meetings including safety training - maintain adequate documentation 5. Staff scheduling and manage staff coverage for all shifts, monitor overtime, and ensure coverage for staff breaks and lunch 6. Make sure a case manager or designee is always available on call to speak about the program 7. Facilitate transportation (when needed) 8. Audit and verify daily documentation by case managers and support staff to include group, individual client progress notes are entered in KIPU to ensure completion and compliance. 9. Improve or enhance end-of-shift reports to communicate up-to-date pertinent information on clients to all staff. 10. Monitor programming budget (operations/clinical) 11. Knowledge of EMR system (KIPU) 12. Preparation of group material and researching new psychoeducation methodologies for inclusion in groups to add to the program schedule 13. Crisis intervention and de-escalation. 14. Liaison between the facility, clinical director, and CEO 15. Monitor timely documentation for operation/case manager department 16. Recruit, retain and train support and case management staff. 17. Complete timely performance evaluations and progressive discipline (when applicable) 18. Other assigned duties
Minimum Qualifications :
1. Current registration through a licensed, certified, or registered board of alcohol and drug counseling educator. 2. 2 (two) years of experience as a Program Director/Case Manager with strong professional references attesting to a high degree of SUD and dual diagnosis knowledge and program directorship/management. 3. Advanced knowledge of the 12-step treatment recovery model and its application in the treatment 4. Specific knowledge helpful in process addiction and treatment resources 5. Knowledge of treatment and referral community in Southern California 6. Physical ability to perform assigned duties 7. Current certification in First Aid/CPR 8. TB test within the past 60 days or 7 days after the date of hire
Education:
