Youth With A Purpose Job Description Youth With A Purpose (YWAP) is excited to announce a part-time job opening for a Girls Mentorship Program Manager. This position is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of young women through structured support and mentorship. The Girls Mentorship Program Manager will play a pivotal role in steering our after-school performing arts-based program, designed exclusively for girls. Be advised, this is not a remote job and requires the manager to be physically present for effective program execution and interaction. An ideal candidate will find this role both challenging and rewarding, granting the opportunity to shape and influence the personal and artistic development of our program participants. The primary goal is to foster a nurturing environment that not only supports artistic endeavors but also bolsters personal growth, emotional well-being, and community involvement. Duties and Responsibilities Lead with promoting the after-school program to increase participation and engagement. Coordinate fun and educational community events that align with our program's goals. Educate youth on various life skills including conflict resolution, decision-making, and effective communication. Provide consistent mentorship, helping children and adolescents set and achieve personal goals. Support the development of social skills through structured activities and open discussions. Collaborate with families, schools, and community organizations to ensure a comprehensive support system for each participant. Address and manage behavioral health concerns by implementing proactive strategies to promote emotional stability and growth. Maintain meticulous records of program activities, participant progress, and other relevant data to assess the effectiveness of the mentorship. Requirements Adept in managing and delivering performing arts content, with experience in dance, acting, music, art, or theater arts. Proven experience in working with children or adolescents in various settings such as childcare, educational programs, or mentoring environments. Familiarity with conflict management techniques and ability to resolve disputes among youth effectively. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is considered an advantageous qualification. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to quickly build and maintain rapport with young individuals. Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy.

4 hour shift After school Evenings as needed Evening shift Weekends as needed
