Program Manager Job Description We are seeking a Program Manager who will coordinate project tasks and engineering milestones to ensure that deadlines are met within the agreed time frame and budget. This role involves managing project tasks for development projects, not the build-to-print or contract manufacturing side of the business. The Program Manager will lead and coordinate technical scope with software engineers, firmware engineers, and electrical engineers to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering to the company's quality standards and procedures. Responsibilities Coordinate projects, tasks, and engineering milestones. Manage project tasks for development projects. Lead and coordinate technical scope with engineering teams. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Partner with engineers and discuss design and engineering choices for profitability and timelines. Manage communication between subcontractors, internal partners, and customers. Essential Skills 5+ years experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Project Engineering for development and R D projects. Experience leading projects with technical scope, specifically with software engineers, firmware engineers, and electrical engineers. Experience managing budget and schedule, timelines for deliverables, and customer communication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred experience with government programs, ideally in space or defense. Work Environment The position is based in a small site with an office space, assembly, and lab area located in a modest office building within a small business park. The company operates in the space avionics and sensor systems industry, with a customer base in commercial, space, and defense markets. All work revolves around the total success of missions, involving the development, manufacture, and testing of integrated video systems for satellites, rockets, and spacecraft. The company has been involved in over 150 successful missions, including the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, and NASA's Artemis program. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $84.00/hr.
