Job Description

The Role We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead daily operations of our Adult Day Health Care (CBAS) center. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality participant care, regulatory compliance, and effective supervision of interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and execution-focused , with the ability to translate expectations into consistent, compliant operations. Key Responsibilities Program Operations Oversee day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Health Care program Coordinate workflows across Nursing, Social Work, Activities, Rehab, Transportation, Admin, Kitchen/Cleaning Departments Ensure services are delivered consistently, on time, and in accordance with care plans Identify operational gaps and implement solutions Staff Leadership & Supervision Supervise department leads and key staff Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable Conduct regular check-ins, coaching, and performance evaluations Address performance, attendance, and conduct issues promptly and professionally Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) Coordination Lead and support effective interdisciplinary collaboration Ensure assessments, reassessments, and care plans are completed accurately and on time Monitor documentation quality and follow-through Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with Title 22, CBAS, and DHCS requirements Prepare for audits, site visits, and record reviews Proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions Reporting & Communication Provide regular operational updates to the Administrator Track key metrics such as attendance, staffing issues, and participant concerns Escalate issues early and follow through to resolution Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and participant experience Support implementation of new systems, policies, and procedures Serve as a visible leader on the floor Qualifications Required 1.
One of the following backgrounds:
(A) A person with a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in a management, supervisory, or administrative position. (B) A person with a master's degree and a minimum of one year of experience in a management, supervisory, or administrative position. (C) A registered nurse with a minimum of two years experience in a management, supervisory, or administrative position. 2. Appropriate skills, knowledge, and abilities related to the health, and mental, cognitive, and social needs of the participant group being served by the adult day health center. 3. Be a professional in one of the following: (1) Nursing. (2) Social work. (3) Psychology. (4) Recreation. (5) Occupational therapy. (6) Physical therapy. (7) Speech therapy. (8) Dietetics. (9) Gerontology. 4.
