This position is in the Adult/Older Adult Division of the Behavioral Health Department based out of the Gardner Health Services Corporate Office located at 160 E Virginia Street, San Jose, CA 95112. Under general supervision of the Older Adult Program Supervisor, the Mental Health Specialist provides assessments and related psycho-social services to adults. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team. The Older Adult Program is a person driven and interdisciplinary approach to coordinated care to address optimal mental health functioning by considering stressors, physical health issues and substance use. Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications of this position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Step 1: BA degree and up to three (3) years of experience and/or AA degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience. Step 2: BA degree and up to four (4) years of experience and/or AA plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
