(RP) is a nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives affected by crime through healing services and supportive relationships. We champion dignity, respect, and the capacity for change in every individual. Our goal is to accompany those impacted by crime on their journey of restoration, fostering accountability and promoting non-violence. Through education, compassion, and restorative practices, we strive to break cycles of harm and build a more just community. Position Overview The Program Coordinator, a key member of the Housing and Treatment team, supports the Housing and Treatment Director in developing and implementing the Restorative Partners DeVaul Ranch Participants Program tied to the Path Forward HAPP 5 grant. This position is responsible for coordinating all onsite programming with RP staff and volunteers, including scheduling and facilitating activities and services. At the core of this role is building relationships of trust and consistency with residents, serving as a primary liaison for client engagement, and ensuring participants feel comfortable with Restorative Partners as the new onsite presence. The Program Coordinator models engagement, flexibility, accountability, and a strong sense of community while maintaining clear communication, empathy, and alignment with Restorative Partners' mission and values. Key Roles & Responsibilities Provide programming for day and evening participants Ensure there is a consistent, posted monthly calendar of activities and programming Facilitate Quarterly Listening Circles Coordinate Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings Implement Recreational Activities Sessions Create regular workshops on community resources Connect with RP Path Forward Case Manager for reentry services Communicate with key leaders of Sunny Acres Provide weekly check-ins with Supervisor/Director of Housing and Treatment Participate in Project Partner meetings i.e. CRG, RP and RRM as needed Participant in feedback sessions and conduct surveys Train volunteers to support program activities and client services Community Outreach and Networking Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, Veteran Services, and government agencies to create a strong partnerships for programming needs Represent the organization at community events and meetings to raise awareness about our project Recruiting community partners i.e. recreational and recovery programming Administrative Duties Database entry to thoroughly track client needs and outcomes Prepare and submit regular reports on program activities Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of organization Assist in fundraising efforts as needed Professional Development Train on RP Apricot database Stay updated on best practices in social work and relevant fields through ongoing education and training Attend required workshops, webinars, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge Participate in regular supervision Train in Listening Circles, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Talents, & Abilities Understanding of restorative justice principles and practices Familiarity with criminal justice system processes and terminology Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches Understanding of local community resources and support services Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Proficient in active listening and empathetic response techniques Proficiency in relevant software and database management systems Talent for remaining calm and composed in challenging situations Aptitude for creative problem-solving and innovative thinking Innate sense of cultural sensitivity and inclusivity Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries Capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities Ability to demonstrate consistent empathy, professionalism, and accountability Essential Requirements Current driver's license, valid automobile insurance, and reliable transportation Successful completion of a comprehensive background check Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field (preferred) Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and database management systems Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings Fluency in English (bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable) Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
