Job Description
About Vista Life Innovations For more than 35 years, Vista Life Innovations has supported adults with disabilities in building independent lives, finding meaningful work, and becoming active members of their communities. Our programs are grounded in a person-centered philosophy, meeting each individual where they are and supporting them toward greater independence at every stage of life. The Role Vista is seeking a Program Coordinator in our Discover Program to implement and assess curriculum and systems that support Vista students/members in achieving greater independence in daily living, community integration, and functional life skills. This role oversees program operations by supporting instructional delivery, evaluating student/member progress, and ensuring consistent implementation of individualized strategies across the Discover Program. What You'll Do Deliver curriculum instruction to Discover students as needed. Support and monitor systems for the Discover students as designed by the larger team. Evaluate a given situation and independently develop goals and action steps and ensure implementation of these actions in day-to-day instruction. Evaluate a student/member's progress and provide appropriate training interventions. Provide strategy development and consultation for program staff in a variety of settings. Oversee and monitor medication systems within the dormitory setting. Maintain all necessary records and documentation with accuracy, efficiency, and clarity. Implement program curriculum across functional skill areas to support independence in life skills, community integration, and social/cognitive development. What We're Looking For High School diploma, plus 2 years of related experience. Associates Degree preferred. Valid driver's license and maintain acceptable driving record as defined by Vista. Possess Public Service License or the ability to obtain endorsement within 90 days of hire. CPR and First Aid, PMT Certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Knowledge and skills in MS Office, including outlook and the internet.
