Create and Facilitate Immersive Service Experiences- Design, plan, and implement immersive service experiences for students, enabling them to volunteer locally, throughout the state, and nationally.
- Ensure service experiences are meaningful and impactful for both students and community partners.
- Assist in the planning and execution of the Presidential Service Awards (PSA), recognizing outstanding student volunteers.
- Coordinate the nomination and selection process for PSA award recipients.
- Promote, advertise, and recruit students for service projects across campus.
- Utilize various marketing and communication strategies to increase student participation in service activities.
- Work closely with Center Staff to identify community partners for volunteer experiences Provide Student Support
- Provides individual and group student success and support services to University of Florida undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from all majors and colleges.
- Facilitate service-learning workshops, presentations, and outreach opportunities associated with the assigned goals and tools related to the department's strategic priorities.
- Assist student organizations, student government, and other student groups University-wide to plan and implement service projects and volunteer initiatives.
- Organize and manage various on-campus drives and service projects such as Field & Fork Pantry volunteers, campus beautification initiatives, clothing drives, and more. On-Campus Partner Collaboration
- Collaborates across campus partners to strengthen pathways for students interested in community engagement and service, ensuring coordinated delivery and measurable impact.
- Engages with campus partners to promote student success, world readiness, and volunteer and service-learning programming.
- Work with other departments and organizations within the university to support initiatives to aid departmental goals, experiential learning, professional development engagements, and post-graduation outcomes.
- Assist in the development of resources and toolkits to support volunteer program implementation. Administrative Functions
- Work closely with the Center Staff to ensure tracking and reporting of volunteer hours and projects for individuals and groups.
- Maintains and exchanges quantitative and qualitative data for assessment, reporting, usage, service participation, and reporting purposes to demonstrate impact.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of service programs through feedback and assessment tools, making continuous improvements.
- Manage financial resources for volunteer programs.
- Prepare and submit reports on service-learning outcomes.
EXPECTED SALARY
$50,000.00-$52,000.00 REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS
