The Opportunity The Head of Portfolio, Program & Service Management is a senior leader responsible for establishing and operating a unified governance model for enterprise portfolios, programs, projects, and service delivery. The role ensures business initiatives, technology investments, and operational services are strategically aligned, prioritized appropriately, and executed with discipline, transparency, and measurable value within a highly regulated cannabis production environment. What You'll Do Portfolio & Investment Management Establish and manage enterprise portfolio management frameworks. Align initiatives to strategic, regulatory, and growth priorities. Lead demand intake, prioritization, and business case development. Provide executive reporting on portfolio health, risks, dependencies, and value realization. Manage program and portfolio budgets and forecasts. Program & Project Management Define and enforce project/program delivery standards and methodologies. Oversee complex cross-functional programs (ERP, automation, compliance). Ensure disciplined execution, risk management, and communication. Service Management & Operational Excellence Lead enterprise service management aligned with ITIL best practices. Establish service catalogs, SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs. Partner with technology and business teams to improve service reliability. Drive incident, change, and problem management maturity. Leadership & Change Enablement Build, lead, and mentor portfolio, program, and service management teams. Drive organizational change and adoption of disciplined delivery models.
What You Bring Education:
Bachelor's degree in related field. 10+ years in portfolio, program, or service management leadership. Experience in regulated or operations-intensive industries. Preferred Experience with Jira Service Management and Software. Experience in cannabis, pharma, food, or CPG. Relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, ITIL, SAFe). Success Metrics (12-18 Months) Improved delivery predictability and transparency. Higher service reliability and SLA performance. Reduced regulatory and operational risk.
