Job Description:
The role of STRYV365's Program Coach is to oversee, develop and implement all aspects of youth programming. The Program Coach will have a deep knowledge of the curriculum, while also evaluating and implementing the curriculum effectively. The Program Coach will be held accountable and responsible for specified performance objectives and benchmarks. The Program Coach will work directly with fellow Program Coaches, Program Managers, the Director of Education, STRYV365 staff, community partners, and report directly to the Director of Programs.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
STRYV365
serves youth and the community through trauma informed curriculum and interventions created to counteract toxic stress. This position requires sensitivity and knowledge of the effects of emotional trauma and adverse childhood experiences. The Program Coach will implement this knowledge and insights into the creation, development, and execution of activities that increase the social and emotional well-being to build resiliency. This position requires a transformative mindset, creativity, high-level communication skills, and experience and a commitment to working with a diverse audience.
Program Coach Expectations:
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple ongoing programs simultaneously at a high level.
  • Create, supervise, and schedule programming.
  • Possess creativity and proactively seeks out new and innovative ways to implement the curriculum.
  • Engage in meaningful relationships with stakeholders and internal staff. Participate in staff meetings and offers goal-oriented opinions and input.
  • Compile, analyze and report on trends in the programs.
  • Resolve issues to keep programs operational while ensuring they remain impactful.
  • Monitor contract utilization, performance measures, and programming to meet requirements and achieve program contract renewal.
  • Attend community events and strategic meetings as a representative of
STRYV365.
  • Conduct training and programming to key stakeholders and community partners
  • Experience and commitment to working with at risk youth belonging to marginalized populations.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing environment that promotes empathy and trust with staff, community partners, and program participants.
  • Possess a high degree of reliability, punctuality and is comfortable working independently.
  • Has critical thinking skills, proactively seeks tasks that grow the organization, and consistently follows-through to complete assignments.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Program Coach or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degrees preferred in social sciences which include: public health, social work, school counseling, psychology, education, or related fields. Recent experience considered in place of education.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to have flexible work hours occasionally.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
