Job Summary The Homeless Youth Program Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the Homeless Youth Shelter and Transitional Living Program. The Coordinator provides case management and supportive services to youth, supervises shelter staff, ensures compliance with grants and policies, and collaborates with community partners. This role creates a safe, trauma-informed environment where youth can stabilize, achieve goals, and transition to long-term housing and independence. Duties Oversee daily shelter and transitional living program operations. Complete intake assessments, develop individualized goal plans, and provide ongoing case management. Facilitate resident meetings, life skills activities, and supportive programming. Supervise, train, and schedule staff to ensure 24/7 shelter coverage. Maintain accurate documentation and prepare required program reports. Ensure compliance with licensing standards, grants, and agency policies. Collaborate with schools, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community organizations. Represent the agency at community meetings and task forces. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field required; Master's Preferred. 3+ years of experience in youth services, case management, or shelter operations. Experience supervising staff preferred. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and participate in on-call rotation. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
