Job Description

Summary The Supervisory Program Specialist is located in the Enrollment & Case Management Division of the VA Health Eligibility Center. This position will be in the VHA Enrollment and Case Management call center whose primary initiative is to support the Veteran's Health Enrollment system. The primary purpose of this position is to provide second line supervision and management support for staff performing in Enrollment & Case Management. Responsibilities Performs supervisory tasks within the scope of the existing HEC policies. Observes subordinate staff performance and conduct work performance critiques. Monitors timeliness of customer support provided by subordinate staff. Develops and implements programs and techniques to establish new and modified work methods /business procedures. Ensures subordinates are trained or otherwise familiar with the section and HEC policies/procedures. Performs multi-functional studies and special projects.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
CST Telework:
This position may be authorized for Ad-hoc telework.
Virtual:
This position is not a virtual position. Return to Office ( RTO ): RTO mandates are in effect and selectees will be required to report to in-person work unless they are approved for an exception or an exemption.
