Robert Half is looking for a Program Coordinator to support a mission-driven non-profit organization in Lexington, Kentucky. This in-person contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who combines strong administrative skills with sound judgment, organization, and a strategic approach to coordinating programs and events. The role offers meaningful exposure to project oversight, volunteer engagement, and operational leadership, with room to grow based on performance and contribution.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate day-to-day program and administrative activities to keep timelines, communications, and deliverables on track.
  • Manage calendars, arrange meetings, and oversee scheduling logistics for internal teams, volunteers, and community-facing events.
  • Respond to inbound calls and routine inquiries with professionalism, ensuring questions are directed appropriately and resolved efficiently.
  • Support the planning and execution of community, educational, recruiting, and large-scale events, including preparation, logistics, and follow-up activities.
  • Work closely with volunteers and stakeholders to organize participation, communicate expectations, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Track program details, maintain organized records, and prepare updates that help leadership monitor progress and priorities.
  • Assist with coordination of resources and budget-related documentation to promote responsible financial administration.
  • Contribute to special projects and operational improvements that strengthen program delivery and support future leadership growth.
