Job Description
The Global Ecumenical Liaison for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) advances relationships with global church partners, ecumenical councils, and faith-based organizations. This role coordinates international dialogues, joint mission initiatives, and advocacy efforts grounded in Reformed theology and social justice commitments. The Liaison represents PC(USA) in global forums, prepares briefings and reports, and advises leadership on ecumenical strategy. Responsibilities include partnership development, grant and project oversight, cross-cultural communication, and resourcing congregations and mid councils for ecumenical engagement in a collaborative, faith-driven environment. Responsibilities Cultivate and manage relationships with global church partners and ecumenical councils Represent PC(USA) in international and ecumenical forums and consultations Coordinate joint mission initiatives and global advocacy efforts Advise denominational leadership on ecumenical strategy and partnerships Prepare reports, briefings, and educational resources on global ecumenical issues Support congregations and mid councils in developing ecumenical and global mission engagement Oversee related grants, program budgets, and project reporting Facilitate cross-cultural communication and conflict-sensitive collaboration Ensure alignment of ecumenical work with Reformed theology and PC(USA) policies Collaborate with internal program areas on integrated global mission efforts Required Skills Ecumenical and interfaith relations Global mission program design Cross-cultural communication Theological research and writing Stakeholder and partnership management Program and grant administration Policy analysis and advocacy Public speaking and representation Strategic planning Foreign language proficiency
