Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator, accountable to the Vice President or designee, is charged with implementing programs and services on behalf of children and families in Southwest Louisiana. The Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing assigned tasks and work including but not limited to intakes, case management, client follow up, case closures, advocacy, outreach, referrals and other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Degree in a human services relevant field from accredited university required. Must be able to work independently. Strong desire to work in the human service field. Ability to clearly communicate mission and purpose of initiatives and services to clients. Knowledge of community services and public relations desired. Integrity, honesty and professionalism, with desire to be a team player.
