PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To serve as liaison between teachers and principals in the writing, implementation, and evaluation of Individualized Educational Plans. 2. To assist teachers in formulating instructional objectives. 3. To coordinate and assist in the development of IEPs. 4. To coordinate initial evaluations and re-evaluations. 5. To coordinate, develop, and implement staff, parent, and community in service training. 6. To become the prime instrument in the retraining of staff. 7. To assist in the projection of special education enrollment and to identify & develop needed programs. 8. To assist in the coordination of all appeals and appeal hearings. 9. To effectively communicate with all outside agencies. 10.To perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Special Services. 11. To meet all timelines that are state and federally mandated12.
