TimberNook Middlesex County is an inclusive outdoor program focused on providing intentional child-led play experiences for children of all abilities. These experiences are informed and enriched by the natural world and contribute to greater development of skills in the areas of physical, emotional, social, and executive functioning in children. Responsibilities Program DeliveryCertified Provider Skills Plan and facilitate daily activities in accordance with established TimberNook curriculum and program standards. Prepare, organize, and stage materials for daily programming. Manage participant check-in and check-out procedures. Lead daily programming while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Continuously assess risks and hazards to promote participant safety and appropriate exploration. Maintain clean, organized, and program-ready spaces, including proper storage of materials and supplies. Maintain current TimberNook training, certifications, and continuing education requirements. Program ManagementTherapeutic Support Develop creative activities and curriculum to enhance and supplement existing programming. Support medication administration in accordance with established policies and procedures. Participate in the development and implementation of client treatment plans. Partner with parents and caregivers to address participant needs, including: behavior management, conflict resolution, and individualized support strategies. Provide therapeutic support and problem-solving for children and adults experiencing behavioral, developmental, or other identified challenges. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve behavioral, operational, and interpersonal concerns while maintaining effective program operations. Program AdministrationLeadership Develop and implement marketing and outreach initiatives to support program awareness and participation. Coordinate program and staff scheduling to support effective daily operations. Contribute strategic planning initiatives for program growth, development, and future operations. Build and maintain relationships with key community partners and stakeholders. Provide staff leadership and support recruitment, onboarding, training, and team development. This position reports to the Program Director of TimberNook. Location This position is located in both Concord, Ma and Dracut, Ma Part time 30 hours per week (potential to work up to 35 hours depending on need) Salary $28/hour (In consideration of: experience, education, certification) Benefits Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, PTO + Retirement (403b)
