Job Description

Job Summary The Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by overseeing program development and management. This position requires a compassionate and organized individual who can effectively coordinate services, manage relationships to ensure the highest quality of care and support for clients. The Service Coordinator will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance the lives of individuals served. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage services for housing authority elderly, family and disabled families ensuring that their needs are met effectively. Develop and implement programs tailored to the unique needs of clients, focusing on personal growth and independence. Provide guidance and support to enhance service delivery. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client services, program development, and administrative tasks. Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and external partners to promote effective service delivery. Conduct reviews to identify client needs and develop appropriate action plans. Monitor program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Qualifications Experience working with elderly and disabled families is preferred. Strong background in program development and management within social work or behavioral health settings. Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and team members. Strong administrative skills including budgeting and resource management. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A compassionate approach towards service delivery, emphasizing respect for individuals' dignity and rights. This position is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of clients while fostering a supportive environment for both clients and staff. Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field and/or comparable experience preferred. Experience in affordable housing, human services, or community-based programs is highly desirable.
