Job Description

We are currently recruiting Community Training Specialists who will support 4 individuals with Autism who will be moving into their new home in the Kingston area with close proximity to RT.3 and Rt. 44. This is a really cool opportunity to help promote social inclusion, provide mentorship while empowering and enhancing the quality of life of a young adult.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in developing opportunities for individual's to be a part of their local community Provide positive role modeling and mentorship Preparation and implementation of program goals, individuals service plans, progress notes and treatment plans. Nurturing a positive relationship with individuals, families, guardians and service providers Providing for appropriate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promoting healthy lifestyle choices
Requirements:
This position requires one year experience working in the human service field however internships and volunteer opportunities can be substituted for work experience. Possession of a valid Massachusetts Driver's License. Preference will be given to candidates that have direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder The selected candidate will be a compassionate, creative, self-starter capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
