Shore's Adult Services Day Program provides specialized Day Habilitation and Community-Based Day Support (CBDS) services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program is currently seeking to hire a Program Manager at our Peabody location. This is a great management opportunity for a person whose experience has led to a genuine commitment to ensuring that adults with developmental disabilities have access to meaningful activities and connections in their lives, are treated respectfully, and have the opportunity to make their own decisions and choices to the greatest extent possible. Primary responsibilities of a Program Manager include: Provide positive leadership and oversight of assigned groups of program participants and the staff who directly support them; Ensure that scheduled activities are thoughtfully planned and executed; Provide staff with supervision, training and support; Maintain safety and program quality compliance; Complete case management assignments in a timely fashion; Provide direct support to our program participants as needed. You will work in cooperation with other program managers, interdisciplinary therapists, nurses, staff, and the Program Director to facilitate smooth program operations, a friendly work environment, excellent communication internally among all program staff and externally with participants' families, residential providers and service coordinators. You'll have a role in the intake process for new referrals to the program, hiring staff, and ensuring that Shore's policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to consistently and equitably.
