Senior Associate, Client Experience Weber Shandwick is looking for a Senior Associate, Social Publishing to join our team in Detroit to work on an automotive client. We are seeking a Senior Associate with a foundation in social media, automotive and tech story telling. The ideal candidate is someone who has previous project and team management experience, loves the ever-evolving world of social, can help manage the clients and teams and is interested in contributing to content that connects communities. Familiarity with current social platform capabilities, best practices and trends are a must. Our team is curious, creative and constantly seeking opportunities to leverage cultural engagement.
Responsibilities What You Will Be Doing:
Serve as a key team member on the business, managing multiple projects at once Daily client communications, ongoing client counsel and clear recommendations Content calendar planning Liaison with advertising partners Serve as a key participant in client meetings and presentations; help craft and present communications strategies Bring to life compelling ideas for clients Coach and mentor others on the team to foster excellence, camaraderie and success Support and assist team members with client-related projects Stay current on new and existing media coverage and how/why stories travel Trend spotting across the client category and media landscape Assist with ongoing reporting, research and monitoring projects for the client Experience managing outside vendors/partners and troubleshooting activations Experience managing social content calendars, posting and optimizations

Excellent oral and written communication Strong research skills stemming from a social media focused curiosity Ability to build trust and rapport with the client and team across all levels Demonstrate a proactive and forward-thinking mindset Integrated skill set that combines content creation and digital expertise Excellent collaboration and team building skills Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple jobs in a day Intuitive thinker who asks probing questions and anticipates and addresses needs Sound business and professional ethics
Qualifications Years Experience:
2+ years of experience in social media
Education:
BA or BS degree in Communications or a related discipline
Salary Range:
$59,000 USD - $65,000 USD Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
