Full-Time/Regular Experience Center Support Specialist Terms of Employment:

Full Time, 52 Weeks. Minimum 37.5 hours per week, hours vary and may include evenings and additional weekend hours as determined by the college.

Salary Range:

$43,000 - $46,000 based on skills, qualifications, and experience.

FLSA Status:

Salary/Exempt.

Job Summary:

Coordinate Challenger Learning Center and Experience Center activities to provide a consistent, positive, high-quality experience.

Responsibilities:

Prepare for and deliver high-quality and professional programming in Experience Center and Challenger Learning Center in non-traditional and traditional settings including, but not limited to on-site field trips, off-site outreaches, scout activities, birthday parties, camps and public programs, and some special events. Provide excellent customer service to visitors/program participants. Responsible for care and maintenance of program supplies and equipment. Ensure safety of site, activities, and participants; report any accidents, injuries, and safety concerns. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude and demeanor; effectively represent and act as an Ambassador for the College to faculty, staff, students and visitors. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervision Received:

Reports to the Experience Center Manager.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree required. Applicants in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree will be considered. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon completion of bachelor's degree for applicants with a degree in process. Understanding of community college setting and customer service experience preferred.

Ability to multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing demands and priorities. Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and others on campus. Display excellent organizational and time-management skills.
