Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Customer Service/Program Specialist to join a well-known organization in Kansas City. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for clients and customers, providing exceptional support through various communication channels. Duties Responds to applicant and participant inquiries regarding application and re-examination policies and procedures courteously and professionally; directs more complex questions to the appropriate staff. Schedules applicant appointments and provides clear guidance regarding program requirements, eligibility criteria, and available assistance. Counsels participants on unit affordability and housing options. Assists with coordinating background and other required information checks for tenants undergoing recertification and supports final eligibility verification. Contacts eligible applicants regarding available housing units and makes offers in accordance with Authority policies, procedures, and program requirements. Reviews and verifies participant information to determine continued eligibility for housing assistance, including evaluating unit and property owner eligibility for program participation.
