Role:
Bridge Community Development Center Mississippi is looking for a compassionate and dedicated IDD Day Program Facilitator to join their team in Cleveland, MS. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing support, structure, and enriching daily programming. Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily structured activities and programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Support participants in developing life skills, social skills, and personal independence Monitor and document participant progress, behaviors, and daily activities Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) in alignment with each participant's goals Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all program participants Collaborate with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care Assist participants with personal care needs and daily living activities as required
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred Previous experience working with individuals with IDD, developmental disabilities, or special needs Knowledge of person-centered care principles and individualized support planning Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, empathetic, and committed to advocating for individuals with disabilities
