Position Function:
This position is responsible for supporting the administration of physician assistant student clinical rotations which includes clinical site relations, student and preceptor compliance documentation, student rotation and assessment monitoring, assisting clinical faculty with coordinating on-campus learning activities, and maintaining documentation for program accreditation requirements. this position works closely with faculty to assure efficient management of the clinical education curriculum and to serve the needs of clinical phase PA students.
Salary Grade :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development of new clinical sites and maintain current clinical sites to serve the needs of the program. 2. Monitor adequacy of clinical sites and preceptors. 3. Assist with coordinating, scheduling, and modifying student rotation schedules. 4. Conduct routine visits to assessment monitoring of students, clinical preceptors, and clinical sites. 5. Management and organization of confidential documentation necessary for clinical site and preceptor maintenance, to include affiliation agreements, medical licensure and board certification. 6. Assist with coordination of the end of the rotation days/events. 7. Assist with coordination of seminar and end of curriculum activities. 8. Assist with planning and coordinating white coat and graduation ceremonies. 9. Monitor and document student compliance with site-specific requirements. 10. Monitor and document progress and completion of rotation assignments, including rotation schedules, preceptor evaluations, site evaluations, assignments, and patient logging. 11. Continuous participation in the program's comprehensive and ongoing self-assessment, analysis, and accreditation processes. 12. Assist in management of clinical software system. 13. Any other duties assigned by the Program Director or Clinical Coordinator. 14. Some travel required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree Healthcare, business, marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
1
  • 2 years experience related to the scope and function of the job.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in healthcare, business, marketing, or related field.
