Job Description
CAC Multi-Disciplinary Team Facilitator Reports to: Executive Director;
Clinical Program Coordinator Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field; Licensure with the State of Mississippi preferred. Experience with grant projects/management preferred; Two to five years' experience working with families; Valid driver's licenseADA Requirements:
Extensive use of computer screen-time; Sitting for long periods of time; Minimal lifting of 20-30 lbs; Climbing stairs/ladder for storage; Driving agency vehicles locally and statewideWork Schedule:
The CAC Staff will work 40 hours per week. There will be times when additional hours are needed to satisfy all duties.RESPONSBILITIES
1. Intake review and paperwork for reports that meet MDT protocol within each county served through the project. Coordinate contacts, cross reporting, NCA and discussions with appropriate Child Protection Services workers and Law Enforcement related to reports to ensure CAC services are offered. 2. MDT Facilitation- facilitate MDT teams in Lowndes, Choctaw, Clay, Noxubee, Webster and Oktibbeha counties, providing monthly case review, scheduling meetings, conducting routine case review with all team members, conduct new member orientation with various disciplines, and ensure county protocol is being following by all members. 3. State Protocols
- assist with updating protocols for each county, identifying areas that may need to be adjusted to meet the day-to-day functions of each team. Gathering appropriate signatures for all protocols. Maintaining protocols for each county for funding, accreditation, and CAC program. 4. Children's Advocacy Center
- coordinate with CAC staff on policies, protocols, accreditation standards, and routine problem-solving; assist with forensic interviewing as a back-up interviewer; provide ongoing education with Multi-disciplinary Team Members, Educators, and other community members responsible for the safety of children; Assist with coordinating training classes using the Darkness To Light curriculum and Mandated Reporting Laws; ensure OMS data including the completion of surveys by MDT members.
- participate with CACM training as required for CAC positions; Serve as back-up intake and victim advocate; 6. Record Maintenance
- prepare and maintain records for monthly CAC services, CACM special projects, and quarterly programmatic reports for grants supporting the CAC; ensure appropriate data fields are being completed within the Collaborate Database System ; perform other administrative tasks required of CACM grants/membership 7. Training
- participate in training offered through CACM regarding the Pilot Project, MDT facilitation, and CAC services; coordinate training opportunities for MDT members sponsored by SKWFS and conferences/workshops attended by team. 8. NCA Standards
- assist with the re-accreditation process to include completion of application, gathering supporting documents, and assisting with on-site review; understand the ten standards outlined by NCA and the process SKWFS uses to meet the standards; maintain documentation that supports the re-accreditation process. 9. Agency Relations
- Must maintain and promote good agency relations 10. Office Support
- Assist with internal CAC communication and support; Assist with other Sally Kate Winters Family Services activities as needed
